Here are some notes from a wide range of sales courses I attended, condensed into some simple checklists. I don’t like the salesmen they create, but they’re interesting to reflect on.
Mazlo’s hierarchy of needs
When looking at why people do things, you can first examine where they are in this hierarchy, don’t expect as much from people who are struggling to meet the first level.
Pareto’s Principle
Pareto was an eighteenth century Italian economist who observed: 80% of the contribution to any result is generated by 20% of the effort expended. This principle has since been applied to a lot of areas where it may not be true.
